The Nikon D7000 is a new prosumer DSLR camera with a 16.2-megapixel DX-format image sensor. Key highlights of the D7000 include Full 1080p HD video with full-time autofocus and manual exposure control, a new 2,016-pixel 3D Colour Matrix metering system, new EXPEED 2 image-processing engine, new 39-point Auto-focus system with 3D tracking, 14-bit analogue-to-digital conversion, 6fps continuous shooting, dust- and moisture-sealed magnesium alloy body, 921k dot 3-inch LCD screen, and dual memory card slots. Its most surprising feature is a 39-point autofocus sensor, which is significantly more sophisticated than anything else available at this price point.
Nikon D7000 features 16.2MP DX-Format CMOS sensor that works together with Nikon’s EXPEED 2 image processor, 1080p HD video with full time autofocus, 6FPS burst shooting, a 39-Point AF System, autofocus fine tuning, a 3〃 LCD display and pentaprism optical view finder, and dual SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slots. But this MOV video format came from Nikon D7000 is a long GOP format that is highly compressed.
The good: Excellent performance for its class; great viewfinder; control locations and operations streamlined over previous Nikon dSLRs; double SDXC-compatible card slots.
The bad: No 1080/30p video.
The bottom line: An excellent dSLR for experienced shooters or Nikon professionals looking for a relatively cheap option, the Nikon D7000 delivers on almost all counts, including the company's best shooting design to date.

How to convert Sony XDCAM PMW-200 MXF file to FCP for professional editing

The PMW-200 features the same Fujinon lens as the PMW-EX1R. The lens has a 14x zoom ratio, and the 5.8-81.2mm focal length range has a 35mm equivalent of 30-439mm. At f/1.9, the fast maximum aperture helps when shooting in low-light conditions and allows for reasonably shallow depth of field. The PMW-200 is equipped with three 1/2" Full HD 1920 x 1080 Exmor CMOS sensors, which support 1000 TV1 high resolution, F11 (2000 lx) high sensitivity, low 56dB noise and a wide dynamic range. It works for SD/HD recording and features a 14x zoom lens with a unique focus ring mechanism.
The PMW-200 can record in HD442, HD440 and DVCAM formats, which means that it is fully compatible with all past and present XDCAM workflows, and either UDF or FAT file formats can be used with appropriate recording media. A variety of recording formats such as 50Mbps/35Mbps MXF, 35Mbps/25Mbps MP4 and DVCAM are available for a wide range of applications and workflows.
For MXF file is a "container" or "wrapper" format which supports a number of different streams of coded "essence", encoded with any of a variety of codecs, together with a metadata wrapper which describes the material contained within the MXF file. Sony's XDCAM MXF is supported by Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro via XDCAM Transfer, Autodesk Smoke, Avid, Dalet, Harris, Rhozet, Sony Vegas Pro, etc.
