Tips for playing AVI/WMV/MKV file on Google Nexus 7

To choose a tablet computer, which tablet would you love to get? In fact, I like Google Nexus 7.
Nexus 7 is designed to go wherever you go–and now with up to 32GB of storage and the ability to connect to mobile data networks – Nexus 7 can take you even further, with a vibrant 1280-by-800 high-resolution display. It is a handy device with everything present in it. Applications, camera, games, downloading, net surfing, official applications and everything are there that can help a person to substitute it with heavy laptops. Business is faster and schooling is easier than ever.
Music and Media Player:
The Play Music is the Music Player. You can view all Music or Music only on the device. There is Album view and several options in the music player including shuffle, repeat and instant mix. You can add songs to the queue to play next.
You can enable equalizer from the settings, which offers several equalizer settings (Classical, Dance, Flat, Folk, Heavy Metal, Hip Hop, Jazz, Pop, Rock, FX booster and custom). The Bass boost and 3D effect are available when you plugin the earphones. The audio from the loudspeakers and the earphones are good. You don't get earphones in the box, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Tablets.
The Play Movies and TV app can play MP4, MPG and 3GP videos but doesn't support AVI or MKV formats. You can change the on-screen caption size from the settings.
"The galaxy nexus wont transfer mkv video files.
When I drag the mkv file in, my computer says "Windows explorer has stopped working". I have tried putting other types of video files (avi, mp4, etc...), they dont have any problems except for the mkv files. Im using Windows 7, tried on 2 different computers same results..."
