How to convert Sony XDCAM PMW-200 MXF file to FCP for professional editing

The PMW-200 features the same Fujinon lens as the PMW-EX1R. The lens has a 14x zoom ratio, and the 5.8-81.2mm focal length range has a 35mm equivalent of 30-439mm. At f/1.9, the fast maximum aperture helps when shooting in low-light conditions and allows for reasonably shallow depth of field. The PMW-200 is equipped with three 1/2" Full HD 1920 x 1080 Exmor CMOS sensors, which support 1000 TV1 high resolution, F11 (2000 lx) high sensitivity, low 56dB noise and a wide dynamic range. It works for SD/HD recording and features a 14x zoom lens with a unique focus ring mechanism.
The PMW-200 can record in HD442, HD440 and DVCAM formats, which means that it is fully compatible with all past and present XDCAM workflows, and either UDF or FAT file formats can be used with appropriate recording media. A variety of recording formats such as 50Mbps/35Mbps MXF, 35Mbps/25Mbps MP4 and DVCAM are available for a wide range of applications and workflows.
For MXF file is a "container" or "wrapper" format which supports a number of different streams of coded "essence", encoded with any of a variety of codecs, together with a metadata wrapper which describes the material contained within the MXF file. Sony's XDCAM MXF is supported by Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro via XDCAM Transfer, Autodesk Smoke, Avid, Dalet, Harris, Rhozet, Sony Vegas Pro, etc.

At first, you should get your MXF video backup on your mac, install doremisoft video converter to you Mac, run the converter. Then you can click "Add Files" to load the MXF file into it.
After that, you can choose the output format for fcp, click the "Convert to" menu bar to select the Apple ProRes 422 as output file format.

When the setting is finished, you can hit the big blue button to start converting XDCAM MXF to FCP ProRes.
Tip:
This video converter also can be a XAVC Converter, with this converter you can convert XAVC file from sony pmw-f5 to fcp, or convert pmw-f5 to sony vegas for editing. If you are Windows user, to edit xavc footages in windows movie maker just choose WMV or AVI as output format.
